1. Service Overview

TimeLine (hereinafter "the Service") is a diary and life-log application that allows you to record the present while reflecting on past records. Users can record and manage daily events and memories in chronological order through the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Be 13 years of age or older
  • Agree to these Terms of Service
  • Create an account with accurate information

3. Account Management

  • Users are required to provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Users are responsible for maintaining account security
  • Please contact us immediately if you discover unauthorized use of your account
  • Using another person's account is prohibited

4. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in the following activities:

  • Activities that violate laws, regulations, or ordinances
  • Activities that infringe on the rights of other users or third parties
  • Posting discriminatory, defamatory, or threatening content
  • Spam, harassment, or fraudulent activities

Image & Content Policy

1. Basic Policy

TimeLine aims to provide an environment where users can safely share their daily moments. To ensure a comfortable experience for all users, we have established certain guidelines for posted content.

2. Acceptable Content

We encourage the following types of content:

  • Records of daily scenery and events
  • Photos you have taken yourself
  • Memories with family and friends (with their consent)
  • Personal experiences such as cooking, hobbies, and travel
  • Photos of nature, buildings, pets, etc.
  • Constructive and positive written expressions

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited:

  • Images or text that infringe copyright
  • Posts that violate others' privacy
  • Photos of others that violate portrait rights (without consent)
  • Violent or aggressive content
  • Discriminatory content or hate speech
  • Sexual content
  • Spam or commercial advertising
  • Content that promotes illegal activities
  • Content that encourages self-harm

4. Special Notes Regarding Images

Please note the following when posting photos:

  • If others appear in your photos, always obtain their consent before posting
  • Even when photographing in public places, avoid photos where specific individuals can be identified
  • Refrain from posting if copyrighted works (paintings, posters, characters, etc.) appear in the image
  • Ensure that personal information (addresses, phone numbers, credit cards, etc.) does not appear in your photos
  • Parental consent is required when posting photos of minors

5. Text Posting Guidelines

Guidelines for posting text:

  • Please use expressions that respect other users
  • Avoid including personal information (real names, addresses, school names, etc.)
  • Defaming others or using offensive language is prohibited
  • Avoid posting misleading or false information
  • Unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted text is prohibited

6. Reporting Feature

If you find inappropriate content, please use the post reporting feature. Our operations team will review reported content and take appropriate action as needed. False reports or reports for harassment purposes are prohibited.

7. Response to Violations

If content violating this policy is discovered, we may take the following measures:

  • Removal of the relevant content
  • Warning to the user
  • Temporary posting restrictions
  • Temporary or permanent account suspension
  • Legal action (in cases of serious violations)

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Copyright of original content posted by users belongs to the poster
  • However, you agree to allow us to reproduce and display posted content to the extent necessary for service operation
  • When posting others' copyrighted works, please ensure you have obtained appropriate permission
  • We will respond promptly to copyright infringement claims

9. Use for AI & Machine Learning

Posted content is used only for the following purposes:

  • Analysis for service improvement
  • Automatic detection of inappropriate content
  • Improvement of memory features
  • Content will not be provided as external AI training data without user consent

10. Data Storage and Deletion

  • Posted content is stored until deleted by the user
  • All posted content is deleted when an account is deleted
  • Deleted data cannot be recovered, so we recommend backing up important data in advance
  • In cases of serious Terms of Service violations, deleted content may be retained for a certain period

11. Protection of Minors

  • Children under 13 years of age may not use the Service
  • Users under 18 should use the Service with parental consent
  • Inappropriate content targeting minors is strictly prohibited
  • Child pornography or other child exploitation content will be immediately removed and reported to relevant authorities
